On June 5 from 10am to 1pm at Glenmore Park in Calgary, Alberta thousands will participate in the 11th annual Dog Jog which benefits the Calgary Humane Society. Everyone who participates will walk with their best furry friend on two courses, one is 2.5 km and the other longer walk/run is 5km.
You can sign up as an individual walker or with a team, like your company or a group of friends. All the money raised will help animals in need at the Calgary Humane Society. This year’s goal of Dog Jog 2011 is to raise over $210,000.

Upon registering you and your dog, you’ll be given personalized webpage on Calgary Humane’s site where you can ask for donations and send the link to your friends, colleagues, and post to your blog, Facebook page, or twitter the link. The goal is to raise at least $100 for each person who participates.
