Making a Reservation

To ensure that you have the widest variety of pet-friendly lodgings to choose from, we have greatly expanded our listings of hotels, B&Bs, Cabins & Cottages, and Vacation Rentals. Because of this, we have numerous reservation vendors handling our bookings. Most of our reservations are made directly through the lodgings themselves. However, we also have independent vendors that book the reservations.

You can tell whether your reservation was booked directly through the hotel if the link on our site goes to the hotel site. You will also get a confirmation email directly from the hotel itself.

If you book it through our independent reservation vendor, you will get and email with the subject: PetsWelcome.com – Hotel Reservation. It will give you a Trip Number and all the specifics regarding your reservation. It will also give you a phone number and web link to View or Cancel your reservation.

To Cancel a Reservation

Whether you booked your reservation directly through the lodging or through our own reservation vendor determines how you cancel it. As stated, if you received a confirmation email directly from the hotel, you can call/email them to cancel.

If you received an email with the header PetsWelcome.com – Hotel Reservation, that means you booked it through our own system. The email will give you specifics regarding your reservation as well as a web link and telephone number to call in case you want to cancel the reservation.

For these reservations, the number to call is 877-477-7441. You will need your Trip Number and the last 4 digits of the credit card/pin code you used to make the reservation.

If you made a reservation through us that needs to be canceled and you’ve tried but you’re having difficulty, please let us know (email [email protected] or call 1-845-297-5150) and we will look into it. If the lodging refuses to refund your money and you cancelled in time and there was not a “No Refund” or “Partial Refund” cancellation stipulation at the time of your reservation, we’ll make sure you get your money back. The same goes for any fees that are not refunded. In short, if you played by the rules, you will be refunded.
