One of the cutest photo holiday cards I tend to get from friends are the ones with their pets on them. I have one friend who has 3 cats and somehow she gets them to all sit still and together long enough to snap a picture. My other friend has dogs and fosters dogs. One year her holiday card had 7 dogs on it! Yes, 7. It was awesome. The cards I get with my friends’ children on it are great too but the animals ones are funny and light hearted. If your dog, cat, ferret, duck, chicken, snake, parrot, iguana, or finch celebrates the holidays too, then you can make your own holiday postcard by taking a great picture and then printing up a few cards at your local pharmacy or grocery store using the photography kiosks.
However, if you want a picture with Santa, check with your local shelter, pet store, and rescue organization’s website to see where Santa will be.
