Sally Loo’s Wholesome Cafe is located in San Louis Obispo at 1804 Osos St. and has been opened almost a year. The owners named the cafe after their dog and your dog is allowed to accompany you at one of the outdoor tables. Sally Loo’s serves fair-trade, organic coffee, seasonal vegetables, and farm fresh produce from local businesses. They have breakfast items such as waffles, granola with seasonal fruits, and sandwiches made with organic meats and vegetables.
Le Ciel Crepes Cafe at 3211 Broad St in San Louis Obispo has outdoor seating where you and your best buddy can hang out and grab a bite. They have salads, sandwiches, and, of course, crepes! A few of the crepes they have are savory ones such as chicken, garlic, tomatoes, pine nuts, pesto, and parmesan cheese and others are sweet like banana, coconut, nuts, and chocolate. Le Ciel has been open since 2004. If you find some fun salt and pepper shakers and give them to Le Ciel, you get a free dessert crepe!
Harbor Cover Cafe is in Ventura at 1867 Spinnaker Drive and is a low-key, casual cafe with a beatiful view of the ocean. It’s been around since 2005 and has outdoor seating where you and your pup can hang out. They have lunch boxes for those heading to beach, hearty lunches, beer, wine, and more. You should try the angus burger and the home-made clam chowder.
Cafe Limelight is in Santa Cruz located at 1016 Cedar St. and aside from some great food for you, there’s a dog menu. Your pup can have a pig ear, bully stick, turkey, or a dental stick as you enjoy soup, salad, or a panini sandwich. They have a great selection of tea, coffee, beer, wine, and desserts. You and your dog can sit outside, enjoy the day, and munch on some food together.
