Dog Parks Around Saint Paul, Minnesota

Those who want to travel in the Midwest with their dog should stop around Saint Paul and its surrounding areas to check out these dog parks! Some of them are huge, open spaces and others have forest.

Arlington Off-Leash Dog Area

The Arlington Off-Leash Dog Area is located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It is about 4.5 acres large, and is shaped like a long rectangle, full of wooded trails, open space and a slope. Though completely enclosed, there are five different entrance areas to this park. Though there is no water, there are two picnic tables, a bench and some lawn chairs for humans.

Rice Creek North Regional Park Off Leash Dog Area

This dog park is 13 acres in size, and has a pond. It is located in Shoreview, Minnesota, and they are working on a fence around its premises.

Woodbury Dog Park

Woodbury, Minnesota, has an off-leash dog park that has 70 acres that consist of mowed walking trails, a shelter area, benches, picnic tables, a water fountain for dogs, waste bags and trash cans.

Battle Creek Regional Park Off Leash Dog Area

This dog park is located in Maplewood, Minnesota. It has almost 35 acres of space, which feature grassy knolls, sandy areas and a forested section as well. It comes with waste bags and garbage cans, along with ample parking space. This park is partially fenced-in. Though there are usually bowls, people should bring their own water. There are spots where ponds sometimes fill up, but these can dry up and become puddles when it does not rain for a while.

Alimagnet Dog Park

Alimagnet Dog Park is located in Burnsville, Minnesota. It is a very developed dog park that includes night lighting, a small dog area, double-gated entrance, waste bags, garbage cans and a dog washing station for the summer. It is open all year, from 5:00 AM-10:00 PM.

Otter Lake Regional Dog Park

The Otter Lake Regional Dog Park has 10 acres of space, and is a fenced-in enclosure.

Woodview Dog Park

Located in Roseville, Minnesota, Woodview Dog Park is 4 acres big, and has certain hours restricted for small dogs only. It is handicap accessible as well.
