Pet Events in November

The weather is getting chillier for many of us but there’s still plenty of great pet events happening around the country for us to go to and meet other people who are just as crazy about their pets. November is packed with some great events to bring your dog and the whole family to, here’s a few that are happening during the first half of the month.

BellaDog Magazine’s 3rd Annual Pet Extravaganza is scheduled for November 5, 2011 from 9am to 6pm at the Florida State Fairgrounds located at 4800 Highway 301 North in Tampa, Florida. This trade show features some of the latest and greatest products on the market for all pet lovers as well as free gift bags, a kid’s corner, demonstrations, and an auction. There will also be some local pet shelters and humane societies that will have some pets there that are looking for their forever homes. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and kids under 10 are free, your pet must be leashed and friendly enough to be ok in a big crowd.

Central Pet’s 3rd Annual Pet Fest is in Tubac, Az on November 5, 2011 from 8am to 2pm. Come on down to Central Pet on 2875 E. Frontage Rd. and play some games, check out all the vendors and wonderful pet products on sale, and get your pet blessed if you want. There will also be a lot of free samples and gift bags for you and your pet. It should be a great day to be had by all, best part is that admission is free.

2011 Atlanta Puppy Up! Walk is on November 6, 2011 in Norcross, Ga. at Pinckeyville Park at 4758 South Old Peachtree Road. Admission is $25.00 and benefits Canine Cancer Research. Walk with or without your pet and spend the day checking out the demonstrations, entertainment, and vendors. The day starts at 11am with registration and the walk begins at 1pm. There is also a silent auction available from 11am to 4pm. You could bid on homemade dog treats, a pet massage, dog collars, and boarding, and much more.

There is also the Cat & Dog Crazy Trade Show on November 11, 2011 at Florida Atrium building at 945-D North Concourse Lane in Sun City Center, Fl from 9am to 12pm. This is a morning event and is free to attend. The trade show benefits the South Shore Felines, Inc. and there will plenty of pet-oriented crafts for sale, vendors, photo contests, raffles, and an auction. Pets aren’t allowed to the fair and if you can, please bring a donation of food or toys.
