The 2nd Annual United Kingdom Week For The Animals starts on July 2 and runs through July 10. It is a week long event that strives to bring together animal shelters, rescue groups, businesses, and the community. There will be pet adoptions, dog shows, low cost spay and neuter, activities, and more happening all week long across the UK. All the events will spotlight how amazing animals are and how compassionate people can be.

Poochapalooza is happening on July 9th at the Strawberry Fields Athletic Field in Marysville, WA located at 6100 152nd Place NE from 10am to 3pm. It’s free to go and benefits the care and upkeep of the Strawberry Fields off-leash dog park. This is the 5th year for Poochapalooza and there will be over 50 vendors, demos of flyball, dancing dogs, and a pie eating contest. Bring your dog down and let her run around the 3 acre park. It promises to be a fun day!

The Wagging Tails and Wine Tasting event is being presented by Garden Court Hotel in partnership with Palo Alto Patch on July 14 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm with all proceeds benefitting the Humane Society of Silicon Valley. The suggested admission is $20 and it will be a fun filled evening of wine tasting, food, and activities for dogs and their owners. The event will take place at the Garden Court Hotel located at 520 Cowper Street in Palo Alto, Ca.
