If you love these cute little dogs, check out if there are any Pug clubs in your region! Some are involved in specialty shows, others hold social events, and others are connected to Pug rescues.

Pug Dog Club of America

The Pug Dog Club of America is the American Kennel Club’s parent club for the Pug dog breed.

The members of this club take responsibility in the care, protection and love of this breed and stick to the high standards of owning and breeding Pugs. They can also network people to local pug rescue groups. Those who are interested in joining this Pug club should check out the application page.

Northern California Pug Club

I have owned a Pug for almost 5 years, since she was 8 weeks old. She is a wonderful companion who is always ready for my attention. Because I am very hard of hearing, she, by nature, has become very mindful of door bells and phone ringings, as well as anyone knocking on the door. She is a marvelous traveler when we go away, staying in her pen and never making noise, but always ready for a walk when we stop for ‘facilities’. She and my Boston Terrier, that I had before her, are and have been indescribable companions.
