There are many dog-friendly events happening in September for you and your family to go to and have some fun, learn some new tips about pet care, and maybe even adopt a new family member. If you’re in any of the following cities, check out the pet events that are being held and maybe get your dog a fresh bath, or win a few prizes, or race your pup.

There are so many different activities for you and your pets to participate in. Here’s a few events happening in the next few weekends around the country.

Labor Day Dog Wash and Vaccine Clinic
Where: 3949 Dick Pond Road, Myrtle Beach, SC
When: Sept 3, 2011 1pm to 4pm
Admission: Free

From 1pm to 4pm come down to the K9 Cabana Dog Resort and celebrate Labor Day Weekend by having your dog washed, nails trimmed, and maybe even get a caricature created of your pup. Cartoon sketch artist, Eric Grady, will be there and will draw your pooch for you. There’s also a mobile vaccine clinic where you can update your dog’s vaccines for low-cost.
