A small dog is generally considered to be a dog that weighs less than 20 lbs. and is shorter than 16 inches. Small dogs can be great companions but don’t think that a small dog is not as energetic as a big dog. Size doesn’t always matter when it comes to exercise and play.

1: Chihuahua – they love warmer climates and may shiver if it’s too cold for them. They are great for apartments or small houses and become very loyal to their owners.
