Lots of different bird events will take place around the states for the remainder of August, and some will even feature other animals like reptiles, sugar gliders or amphibians. Many of these fairs are family-friendly and let little children in for free!
Oak Creek Exotic Bird Fair

The Oak Creek Exotic Bird Fair will take place from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. They will host a variety of different vendors who will have species of birds and supplies, and others who offer services like bird grooming.
Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo

Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo will be making its way to Wheaton from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. Admission will be $5 for everyone 11 and up. Though this event its mostly based around reptiles, there will also be birds, like canaries and parrots, along with supplies and food.
Kansas Cage Bird Expo

The Kansas Cage Bird Expo is the largest bird fair in the state of Kansas, and will also have some other animals like reptiles and small mammals. This expo will be from 9:00 AM-3:30 PM, and will cost $5 for the public to enter. It will feature an all-day raffle, along with national and local vendors selling many different types of birds, seed, toys and cages.
Exotic Bird Fair and Festival

The Big Bend Bird Club will be presenting its 21st Annual Exotic Bird Fair and Festival. This family event will happen from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM on Saturday, and from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM on Sunday. There will be a bunch of different exotic birds, bird toys, cages, performances, prizes, educational demonstrations and activities for children. This festival will cost $5 for a single day, or $8 for two days, or free for those under 10.
Ohio Pet Fair

The Ohio Pet Fair will occur from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM, and will cost $3, or free for children 9 and under. This fair will feature many different species of breeder and baby birds, like Conures, Lovebirds, Finches and Parakeets. There will also be an abundance of different foods and supplies on sale.
Joliet Bird Fair

The Joliet Bird Fair will be from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM, and will cost $3 for those ages nine and over. A ton of different birds, bird supplies and bird-related gifts for people will be sold at this fair.
