Yappy Hour
September 10
Orlando, FL
Yappy Hour will occur at the Woof Gang Bakery, from 6 to 9 PM. Specials include 20% off many cat and dog treats (packaged or made by the store), as well as 20% off Unnecessary Essentials collars and leashes. For those who don’t want to shop, there will be free drinks and refreshments for dogs and humans. It is a cute, pink boutique with much selection.
Dog Daze

Fort Walton Beach, FL
This is a popular daytime event, held from 9 AM-4 PM, that is working in part with the AKC Responsible Pet Ownership program. There will be music, pet readings, dog demonstrations, games and contests. They will hold Dachshund races, which are highly entertaining! You can also put your dog into the Doggy Fun Zone. You can get your pet microchipped here. There will be many vendors, and you will be given goody bags and clean-up bags
AKC Responsible Dog Owner’s Day

Clearwater, FL
This is a community event, with no admission, and takes place from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. It will show 50 breed rescue dogs, obedience training, races, Paws for Patriots, and guide dogs.
Paws for Life Bowling Day

St Petersburg, Florida
Bowlers and dog lovers unite! Ten Pins Lanes is hosting a benefit Paws for Life and the FGPC Rescue Fund. It is $25/person, and lasts from 11 AM to 4 PM. Along with bowling, there will be auctions, raffles, lunch and dessert. The money goes to medical care, food and shelter for animals in shelters.
Riverwalk Mutts and Martinis Yappy Hour

Fort Lauderdale, FL
This event will take place 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and is the largest, most pet-friendly happy hour yet in Fort Lauderdale! It costs $15 if you prepay, or $20 at the door. Admission includes two drinks, appetizers, live music, live radio broadcasts and raffles for prizes like dog massages! It is meant to bring the community and pet lovers together, and enjoy the beauty of the city. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Humane Society.
Orange Lake Dog Picnic

New Port Richley, FL
Doggie Cakes, a dog bakery and boutique, will host this third annual event at Orange Lake Park. Registration is $5, $3 per extra person. There will be vendors and raffles.
