Heading Southward? Be aware that there are many fun and interesting reptile shows coming up in this region! Many of the events will display exotic reptiles and amphibians, as well as offer great deals on pet products.

Eastern Kentucky Reptile Show

Morehead, Kentucky

October 4

The Kentucky Reptile Show usually puts on a reptile show each month, it is features captive bred reptiles and supplies, coming from top breeders. There are many fascinating reptiles, amphibians, spiders, insects and more. There will be experts and breeders to answer your questions, as well as many vendors selling products at wholesale price. East Texas Herpetological Society Breeders Expo Conference and Educational Exhibit

Crowne Plaza Houston

Houston, Texas

October 9-11

This is the 19th Annual Show, and it will display snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, books, cages, supplies, T Shirts and assorted reptile collecting equipment. Most vendors will allow you to handle their animals, just ask first! Adults are $6, children under 12 are $3, but infants are free.

Northern Virginia Reptile Expo

Prince William County Fairgrounds

Manassas, Virginia

This event is held every other month. There will be reptiles and vendors set up. Adults are $7, and kids 2-6 are $3.

This organization holds a reptile event every Saturday in Kentucky. Adults are $4 and children under 5 are free. There will be exotic reptiles, and vendors will sell products for up to 50% off retail.

Dixie Reptile Show

Hill University Center

Birmingham, Alabama

October 17

This show will feature many snakes, lizards, turtles and more. Adults are $4 and children under 12 are $1.

Lizard Symposium

Brazos Center

Bryan, Texas

October 17

The Texas Herpetological Society will hold its fall meeting here. You can register in advance to attend. There will be speakers all day addressing all types of important issues regarding lizards, as well as poster presentations.

Repticon Orlando Reptile and Exotic Animal Show

Central Florida Fairgrounds

Orlando, Florida

October 24-25

This reptile show will feature reptile and amphibians wholesalers, reptile pet products and supplies, educational seminars and family activities. Adults are $8, children 5-12 are $5, and children under 4 are free.

Richmond Reptile Expo

Richmond, Virginia

October 25

This event will hold many vendors and breeds of reptiles. Adults are $8, and children 2-6 are $3.

    The Lexington Reptile Expo is located at the Lexington Convention Center.

    The expo will be open from 10am to 4pm.

    Show admission is $4.50
    Children 6 and under free
