 Okay. We're
looking for fun places that accept pets. Or offbeat events that
involve
pets. The more unique, the
better. It can be a bar...bowling alley...a movie theater...a park...a
ski resort...a restaurant...a museum...a Dachsund hotdog eating
contest, whatever.
The only rule is that it can't be a lodging or resort (or a veterinarian!). Also, please double-check that we don't already have it listed. If we can
confirm the place, you'll become an official member in good standing of the Petswelcome.com WatchDog Club (Big Whup!). You'll also be eligible for a weekly drawing that gets you a cool petswelcome.com
hat or T-shirt (at right). Okay. We know we're cheap, but we promise that the minute
we start drawing salaries, the prizes will start getting a lot more interesting.
In the meantime, your place/event will be posted on our site in our Fun and Cool Places database. The more info you can give us the better, including address, zip
code, phone number, etc., if these are applicable. Also, if it's a beach or park, any kind of directions would be VERY helpful. Please don't use all capital letters as
we won't be able to use your submission. We want this to be neat and legible and, above all, useful. After a quick editorial review by a literate bloodhound named Vonnegut, your submission will immediately go live into our
database, thereby letting it grow fast and furious. Hopefully, in the next year or so, with your help, we'll amass an amazing amount of detailed records
until we have the universe's largest library of fun pet-friendly venues that we can all share and delight in. From highway rest stops to hamburger joints, we'll point you and your dog or cat in the right direction.
And just think how good you'll feel by passing on a great place so other people can enjoy it, too.
You'll get a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing that you've nobly advanced the cause of civilization by allowing us to drink martinis instead of doing
the research ourselves.
