For convenience, we have broken the site into two overall sections--one for vistors/pet owners (immediately below) who need lodging or other information and one for professionals (such as lodging owners and managers, campground owners, or pet professionals--including pet sitters, kennels, etc.) who may want to get listed, update a current listing, sign up for an upgrade, or learn about our programs.

VISITOR SECTIONS:
LISTINGS section: This is the heart of our site where you'll find pet-friendly lodgings, B&Bs, cabins, cottages, pet sitters and more arranged by state and then city. It contains:
US Lodgings	This is our total database of pet-friendly lodging in the US listed by state, then city. It contains not only hotels and motels, but B&Bs, cottages, cabins, etc. The rest of the listings are subsets of this entire database. So if you're looking for a pet-friendly B&B, you can go directly to our B&B listing, or look here as well, where all our lodgings are listed.
Canadian Lodgings	This is our database of pet-friendly lodgings in--you guessed it--Canada.
Traveler's Choice	The Traveler's Choice listing is unique in that all the lodgings have been personally recommended by traveling pet owners like you--with no other incentive, commercial or otherwise, than to share their find with others. Also, all the lodgings in this section have chosen to advertise their pet-friendliness by linking their listing to their own site so you'll get to see them up close and personal. This section is select but worth looking into.
Search By Route	One of the favorite and most used sections of our site. All you have to do is put in your departure point and destination and you'll get driving directions with pet-friendly lodgings on your route. Pretty nifty, eh?
Fun and Cool Places	Cafes, museums, malls, stores, etc. that accept pets. Listed by state, then city.
International Listings	In this section you'll find the following: French Lodgings Pet-friendly lodgings in France. Great Britain Lodgings Mostly for Brits, since they have a quarantine for US animals. Air Travel: Info on all the major carriers' pet policies. International Policies: Info on the pet policies of countries around the world.
Ski Resorts	A listing of pet-friendly lodgings and resorts in and around major ski areas.
Campgrounds	A listing of pet-friendly campgrounds by state, then city.
Beaches	A listing of pet-friendly beaches by state, then city. This is NOT a listing of lodgings near beaches--but actual beaches where your pet can run.
Kennels	A listing of kennels by state, then city. Use them on the road--not to leave your animal behind.
Emergency Vets	A listing of Emergency Veterinarians by state, then city. Just in case.
Bed & Breakfasts	A listing of pet-friendly B&Bs by state, then city. This is a sublisting off our main US Lodgings database to make it easier to find a pet-friendly B&B.
Larger Dogs	A listing of pet-friendly lodgings that accept larger dogs (over 75 lbs.). This is culled from our main US Lodgings database to make it easier for those with Rottweilers, etc.
Cat-friendly Lodgings	A listing of pet-friendly lodgings that accept cats. This is culled from our main US Lodgings database to make it easier for those with cats.
Cabins & Cottages	A listing of pet-friendly cabins and cottages by state, then city. This is a sublisting off our main US Lodgings database to make it easier to find a pet-friendly cabin or cottage.
Amusement Parks	A listing of amusement parks that have kennel facilities. Also, the pet-friendly lodgings that are near them. Listed by state, then city.
Vacation Rentals	These are classified ads for pet-friendly private vacation homes that can be rented for a weekend, week, or more.
Featured Lodgings	This is a monthly up-close article on one pet-friendly lodging.
Pet Sitters	A listing of pet sitters by state, then city. We suggest you use them on the road--not to leave your animal behind.
Hotel Chains	A listing of pet-friendly hotel chains.
Apartments & Rentals	A listing of pet-friendly apartment rentals. This is not one of our databases, but comes from homestore.com.
Petswelcome.com Store	This our "shameless commerce division". Clothes and things to look as good, if possible, as we do.
TRAVEL INFO section: This is part of our site where we give you basic information about traveling with your pet, from travel tips to handling emergency situtations. It contains:
Air Travel	Detailed info on all the major carriers' pet policies. Also found in out International Listings section.
International Policies	Info on the pet policies of countries around the world. Also found in out International Listings section.

Emergency Situations	The Disaster Response Team of The Humane Society of the United States has kindly supplied us with their CASEY (Caring for Animals Safety in Emergencies during the Year) Plan to post on our site. Be prepared!
Classifieds	From pet food to vacation rentals, a listing of classified advertisements that cater to you and your pet. Secure on-line ordering available to place an ad.
INFO XCHANGE section: This is a very free-spirited and useful bulletin board where pet-owners and travelers communicate to other pet owners and travelers, giving good advice, usually, but also airing complaints. A great place to ask a question of other travelers, it's a VERY HEAVILY USED section of our site.
WHAT'S NEW section: Self-explanatory, you'd think. But it could be called, What's Old, since we're so busy updating our databases, it's kind of been neglected. However, we've just hired a Bassett Hound to tend to this section and he's going to get to it as soon as he wakes up.
MANAGEMENT section: Our distinguished team of hackers & slackers.
OTHER USEFUL SECTIONS:
On-line Reservations Info	Where we explain how we offer great prices, but advise calling ahead after you've made the reservation to make sure the lodging is still pet-friendly. It most likely is, but even though we update our listings 3 times a week, some policies and ownerships change and we want you to be well received upon your arrival. Also, what to do if you get there and they say they never received your reservation.
Classifieds	The classifieds can also be reached through our Travel Info section, it has ads for everything from pet food to vacation rentals; a listing of classified advertisements that cater to you and your pet. Secure on-line ordering available to place an ad.

Give Your Seal of Approval	If you've had a great stay at a lodging and would like to nominate them for a Seal of Approval by saying something good about them, here's where you do it. Just email us your comments and we'll put our logo next to the lodging's listing. If a visitor clicks on our logo, they'll see your comments. A great help to anyone looking for pet-friendly lodgings.
