A Second Chance At Love

On February 18,2012 at The Park located at 118 10th Ave in New York, NY there will be a charity ball for dogs who need homes.

Tickets are $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door. Doors open at 7pm and bands will be done playing by 10pm.

It’s hosted by The Park and Pinups for Pitbulls with live music from Bikini Carwash, The Screamin’ Rebel Angels, Djs, and items for sale from Dollsville NYC and Enz’s. There is also a silent auction, great food and drinks offered courtesy of The Park, and a lot of fun for a good cause.

Pinups for Pitbulls is an organization that was founded in 2005 to raise money for animals who need new homes. Every year the organization creates a calendar of “pinup” girls money from the sale of the calendar goes to helping pitbull dogs find new homes.

The team at Pinups for Pitbulls also educate, advocate, and work to show the public that the breed or mixed breed of a dog should not be reason enough to ban it, euthanize it, or be afraid of it. Pitbulls are loyal, intelligent, loving, and gentle and can be lifelong companions. Their bad reputation comes from being trained and bred to be fighters or aggressive by owners who aren’t interested in the welfare of the dog but more so for their own self-interests.

  1. Quality info, kudos to the author! Very often, many these dog online websites just simply fill out their particular blogs with information that plainly isn’t always well-suited to most dog owners.Being a dog owner it’s actually very clear and appropriate material. The practical use and importance is great to any pet owner. “Thanks” again for this blog post and all the best.
