How to Help Pets After the Moore, Oklahoma Tornadoes

We’ve all seen the damage that the tornado in Moore, Ok did and our hearts go out to all those affected. The pets also need help and the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals is putting out a call for help. The number of displaced animals and lost animals is large and they are working with many other humane groups to find, help, and reunite pets with their owners.

But they need your help too!

There are 2 ways you can help

  1. Drop off donations of pet food, supplies, and other items at the Oklahoma Animal Alliance office or a monetary donation: Oklahoma Alliance for Animals 1822 E. 15th Street, Suite B Tulsa, OK 74104 – you may call them at 918-742-3700 to find out the times they will be there to receive items. You can also drop off donations to Pooches, 5331 E 41st and other locations, check their site for other drop off locations. Donations can also be made through their website.
  2. You can also use your social networks to help – get the word out. Use your Facebook page, Twitter, or other networks to let others know they can search for a lost pet here as well as letting your friends know they can donate money and items to the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals.
