Veterinary Care Exhibit at Wonderscope Children’s Museum of Kansas City

What does it take to be a veterinarian? What do you need to do when examining a pet? Now your child can be the vet in this new exhibit opening on October 1, 2011 at the Wonderscope Children’s Museum of Kansas City.

Kids will be the veterinarians and nurture their furry friends back to health. The exhibit looks like a real veterinarian office where your children can learn the importance of health care for pets as well as maybe give them another idea of “what I want to be when I grow up!”

The children put on the white lab coats, grab a stethoscope, a clipboard, and become the vet and get to do everything from welcome the patient to diagnosing the problems. They even get to run a pretend X-ray. It’s a very rich interactive exhibit designed from children 2 to 8 years of age but can be fun for all ages.

Wonderscope is a museum that strives to educate through the power of playing. It is located in Shawnee, Kansas just west of I-35 on the north side of Johnson Drive.
