There are some fun and educational events going on during the next couple weeks in Oregon. You can take classes and learn how to trap feral cats or massage dogs, or attend dog social hours.
Caring For Feral Cats

This class will cover how to care for feral cats, as well as techniques in trapping, neutering and returning them to their trapping course. It is a free class that will go on from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM. RSVP is required.
Canine Sunday Playgroup

April 18
Well-behaved, sociable dogs are welcome to go to the Sunday playgroup session. The first group is reserved for small dogs under 30 lbs, and will go on from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM. The second group is for larger dogs, and will go on from 12:00-1:00 PM.
It costs $5, and there will be baked goods and coffee for the owners. Puppies must be at least 4 months old, and all dogs must be vaccinated.

At 12:30 PM, you can attend a class about common cat problems, such as litter training, biting, scratching, attitude and other domestic issues. There is a $10 suggested donation.
Taking Care of Your Pet’s Teeth

Becky Smith, a Certified Veterinary Technician, will host this free class at 7:00 PM. She will go over how to brush your cat’s or dog’s teeth, when to schedule dental cleaning, and what happens if your pet’s teeth are not cleaned. You must RSVP, as space is limited!

This will be a free animal workshop from 5:30-6:30 PM. Financial advisers will be there giving advice on how you can fit your pet expenses into your overall living budget. They will also explain certain methods you may not have thought of.

This class will start at 11:30 and go on until 1:30 PM. Participants just need to bring their dogs, and they will get expert advice on all sorts of dog massage methods, such as relieving muscle and joint tension. You must RSVP to attend; the class costs $40.
