The Sun Suites of Metairie offers clean, affordable short and long term accommodations for work crews, business travelers, bus tours and families. They located off the Service Road, 15 minutes to downtown New Orleans. They are a five minute drive to Clearview Mall and over 100 other different stores restaurants. Louis Armstrong Airport is 10 minutes or less! This exterior corridor property offers both smoking and non smoking rooms. You can select either a King or two doubles and every unit features a refrigerator, cooktop, microwave and enough kitchenwares to prepare and serve a meal. The property is basic and older, but clean. King suites are available if you need extra room and some adjoin doubles, for a family needing two bedrooms. There are no bells and whistles such as a pool or gym, but since this will be your ‘home away from home’ cable, wi fi and parking are complimentary. There is always a cash laundry available at these locations. Breakfast and sundries are NOT available. To save you money, rooms are only serviced weekly, but you can pay for daily upgrade. Linens and towels can be refreshed at the front desk on demand. While the exterior corridor may not be a good fit for large youth groups, it fills all the functional needs for mature and long term occupants.
