Worst Hotel Stay of My Life! Zero paws should be an option!
There are so many things to complain about so I'll just bullet point: -filthy rooms (we moved 3 times and I still had to clean and disinfect the entire room) -iced tea bottles under the bed, food debris in microwave and refrigerator, filthy and grime on all surfaces including mirrors and thermostats, excessive dust, worn, torn and stained carpets, the list goes on) -rude and disinterested front desk on evening shifts (after 6 pm) day desk person polite and friendly but none addressed our concerns. The response was "we're are short staffed and you don't have to stay here if you don't like it." Mind you we paid in advance, had 2 large dogs and the hotel staff couldn't tell us who their general manager is and calling the hotel corporate customer service was a complete waste of time and also no help other than to say they could book is somewhere else but not guarantee a refund on the current location if we checked out. Still haven't received a call back from them or the hotel manager with the note I left for them. -no lights on in the dark parking lot so it did not feel safe considering any front end staff was just hanging around in the parking lot with friends. By the 3rd day there were a few lights turned on but not what would be expected in a hotel lot. -no hangers in closet area, stained ironing board and iron, dust in blow dryer and air conditioning vents -cracked and peeling plaster above sink, mold and dirt in shower (multiple rooms) -food crumbs, hair and clothing tags in dresser drawers -water stains in ceiling around smoke detector -dead beetles of some sort on carpet near bathroom and dead spider next to toilet -evacuation sign for where to go that belongs in the room door was found stuck to the ceiling of a closet area. -no house keeping or change of wash clothes or hand towels, we had to leave trash pails outside the room and find our own toilet paper. -the room key would have to be reset EVERY day to get into the room and at check out they couldn't find us in the system so we have no receipt other than the prepaid one from booking online -Needless to say after all of my cleaning and disinfecting -because we couldn't find another hotel for the week that would take the dogs- the room was left in much better condition than we found it and I should be compensated as a housekeeper for the work I did! Carpet is dirty...
Marijuana is smoked outside the building and inside you can smell the stanky marijuana smoke in the halls and in the room air conditioner. Disgusting. Horrible. The employees were nice though.
