First La Quinta that has ever charged us a pet fee. Altho,we don’t mind because she is our baby and don’t mind paying extra to have her with us but felt that La Quinta cared about our fur babies when no fee was charged. Other than that this isn’t the kind of La Quinta we are use to staying in,most are nicer than this one. Went to check In and see guy coming across the drive to get to the desk to check my husband and I in. After check in,went & parked by our room and on the corner of that motel is 3 guys out drinking and with their own bbq grill just grilling away on the lawn. I’m sure that wasn’t suppose to be happening. Felt ghetto here,I won’t be staying at this La Quinta ever again but will say that the place was clean & the guy at the front desk was nice and got us in fast & they do serve breakfast.

Located in a very busy area with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Entrance and exit to the hotel parking lot is a little hard to get in and out of due to its positioning along Goliad. The pet potty area is large but needs a little maintenance. Poop bag stations are a plus and were plentifully stocked (unfortunately not used as much as they should). The card keys are not the best (got demagnetized several times), but as far as the room goes, it was nice, clean and very adequate for our needs and the needs of our pet. No pet smell or stains, etc. I would stay here again.
