Pet Friendly Lodging Reviews

After paying for our room, when we arrived, the motel was in a high crime area. A lady was in the lobby saying her car had been broken into. The desk clerk suggested we empty our truck (we are on a road trip for Christmas so there is a lot of stuff in there!). And to leave the bed cover open so the bad guys could see there was nothing there. We called a different La Quinta which turned out to be just fine. The dog friendliness, the staff and accommodations there were good. This location was La Quinta northwest, I believe. We are disputing our charge for the hotel we didn't stay in.
