We are use to Motel 6 and wow. La Quinta Fort Stockton is so much better.

The staff went above and beyond to help us out! One of our cats freaked out and wedged himself behind the bed. I was just going to poke him out with a broom and further freak him, asked the woman that was cleaning the rooms for a broom. She declined, said she had a better idea, and called the maintenance man. He moved the mattress/box spring without complaint, stating he had cats & dogs of his own. He also tried to decline the tip I offered, but I persevered! I don't ever want to travel cross country with four cats again IN MY LIFE, but I would definitely stay again.
