Calico Ghost Town just North-East of Barstow California is a really cool ghost town that welcomed my dog, the illustrious JP8, in every store except the restaraunt (which he didn't think was fair). He got to watch a gun fight, get icecream and even rode their old train. He also rode the cable car up the mountain and went through the tour of the old mine. He loved it so much that he made me buy a year pass to the place. The weekends could get crowded durning the special celebrations, but that's only about 4 times a year. As for the restaraunt part, they have several stands with outdoor seating that allowed us both to have nice meals up there. There aren't any terrifying rides and it can get mighty hot in the summer, but the place was a wonderful spot to enjoy the old west with my favo

This garden restaurant has a wonderful pet-friendly patio where you can enjoy their Mediterranean-inspired menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Breakfast picks include Chorizo Scramble and the Vegan Burrito, stuffed with tofu, avocado, home fries, and homemade salsa. They have an amazing selection of salads, sandwiches, wraps, and burgers, including lots of vegetarian choices, like the Grilled Eggplant Sandwich topped with fresh mozzarella and pesto aioli. For dinner, we love the Mediterranean Platter, lamb kebabs served with a Greek salad, dolmas, and hummus.
