The escargot was the best I've had, and the French Onion soup delicious. My friend had the caprese salad with jumbo shrimp that was unexpectedly good. We sat on the... read more patio for our 7 p.m. reservation, and it was lovely, even at 97°F. The only major drawback was we were upcharged on almost everything. We asked one of our 4 servers to change the bill to reflect the correct prices and we were still upcharged, although they fixed 3 of the 4 overcharges. We believe that the errors were too consistent to be unintentional. Tables were too close together and didn't meet the 6 foot requirement for covid-19. We had planned to go back for dinner the next night, but after this experience decided against it. Not sure what is going on with the upcharging, but it is alarming.

We came here a little after closing time on a Tuesday, but it looked so charming that I asked if we could be seated for dessert. We were graciously offered... read more a table on the porch, the perfect place to see the night lights coming on over third street. The waitress was very kind, offering a full description of the desserts available. We enjoyed the berry pavlova and the flourless chocolate cake. Both were superb, but the pavlova was the show stopper; perfect with the decaf coffee that was served and frequently refreshed. We have been here before for company Christmas dinners and they have also been AMAZING. This was our first time on our own and it made a very special anniversary evening treat.
