This is a private dog park that also offers doggy daycare. The dog park provides 15 acres of open expanse and plenty of shade for your pup to explore and play in off leash, as well as two ponds for water fun. For nonmembers, the cost is $12/day. Open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 1 to 6 p.m.
This off leash parks features separate areas for large and small dogs with plenty of room for your canine to run. There are doggy water fountains, shaded seating areas for pet owners, and complimentary poop bags.
We love their delicious menu, kind of a cross between pub and steakhouse, with fun flavor twists. Try the Bacon Jam Burger, topped with brie and maple bourbon bacon jam, or the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, or the Chairman’s Reserve Sirloin. Relax with your pooch on their pet friendly covered patio; water bowls are available on request. Open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday & Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday noon to 8 p.m.

The Swamp is a Gainesville institution, “Serving the Gator Nation Since 1994,” as they proudly proclaim on the website. Swamp Starters include Macho Nachos and Gator Biters (yes, real gator tail with mango-chile glaze); try their Everglades Salad, with more gator tail, plus avocadoes, carrots, chutney, and greens, tossed with a pineapple vinaigrette. There are also sandwiches, wraps, and burgers, and specialties like the Spicy Tuna Bowl and Fresh Catch Platter. Sit and stay awhile with your best friend on their pet-friendly deck, and sip their house margarita, the Swamprita. Open daily 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Pet friendly patio
This is such a fun place to go with your dog! Not only are there cute clothes and toys for your pooch, the owner makes the bakery treats herself and hosts Yappy Hour every Friday afternoon for dogs to socialize. The Top offers a great selection of beers, wine, and cocktails, as well as a delicious food menu that includes salads, burgers, build-your-own-grilled cheese, pastas, and more, plus lot of vegan and vegetarian options. Your pooch is welcome to join you at their pet-friendly covered seating area in front and the patio area; water bowls provided on request. Open Tuesday through Saturday 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., Sunday brunch 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
