In Venice, FL there is ANOTHER Paw Park!! This one has opened in May 2001. It is located West of the Airport, and South of the "Sharky's" Rest. and pier. There are double gates to get into the park, a fenced area for small, timid dogs and thru another set of gates - the Beach!! It is open for various hours - so's not to disturb the private houses in the area. There are doggie bag dispensers, a fresh water station, a shower and shaded picnic tables!! Oh, and it is FREE! It is a Sarasota County park.
Fenced dog play yard leads to the only beach area in the county where dogs are welcomed.

Wellington, Florida, DOG PARK, 2975 Greenbriar Blvd., 561-791-4005. Forest Hill Blvd. west to South Shore Blvd. go left, to Greenview Shores, go right, to Greenbriar. Continue to end, park on left. Fenced areas for Small and Large Dogs, total 3 acres, running water, shade trees and sun, benches, grass, pick-up bags. Great Park!!! Maintained by the city of Wellington, Parks and Recreation and closed on Thursdays for this.

Yappy Hour at 5:00 pm. every Monday night at O'Shea's. You and you dog get to come and hang out with other dogs. All the dogs get homemade doggie treats and everyone who brings a dog get a FREE drink. Dogs under 35lb are welcome before 7pm and all dogs are welcome after 7pm.
