Three Dog Bakery is located in a specialty area of Des Moines Iowa. there are several unique shos and cafes up and down several blocks. Dogs are welcome in the area and several stores allow dogs. Also several cafes have outside seating and welcome pets. The Bakery itself is our dogs favorite place - of course they love the food but enjoy all the attention and usually find a new toy they need. We stop in this area every time we are in the Des Moines. There is one night a week they have lots of street activities and the streets are closed down. It is a fun place for people and thier Pets. There are also several Panara Resturants in Des Moines that have outside seating and welcome Pets outside with their people.

Zanzibar's Coffee Adventure, 2723 Ingersoll Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50312. Located on the Northeasternly corner of 28th Street and Ingersoll Avenue. Take I-235 to the exit on 31st Street (if travelling west) or 35th Street (if travelling east). Ingersoll Avenue is approximately 5-6 blocks south. Turn left (east) until you reach 28th Street. On street parking available. There is a lovely patio out the back door where pets often hang out with their owners who are enjoying breakfast, a cup of great java, reading the paper, etc. Very pet-friendly staff - will provide a dog bowl with filtered water and dog treats to all canine visitors.
