You and your pup are welcome at the tables outside. Don't forget to get your canine's picture taken with Wimpy, the restaurant's 11-foot-tall lobster mascot!
Pets are welcome at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort and they offer something for everyone.
Kennebunkport
Cape Pier Chowder House is a seasonal restaurant with a big deck overlooking the water offering New England seafood favorites. Dogs allowed at the tables on the deck.
Kittery Point
Casual dining place with great seafood. Big picnic tables either under cover or in the open on a deck overlooking a creek. Glad to see dogs and offer them a bowl of water as soon as you choose your table. Also BYOB for people.
Fort Foster is located on Gerrish Island in Kittery Point.

Mount Desert Island
You and your pooch can enjoy Jordan Pond House's famous popovers (or chowder, or lobster rolls) or afternoon tea in their lovely outdoor eating area, under beautiful green umbrellas overlooking Jordan Pond. Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
Northeast Harbor
Tan Turtle offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner and also has a full bar. Snag a table out on their pet-friendly dock and enjoy the spectacular views of the harbor and mountains.
Get a table on their deck, which overlooks Northeast Harbor, and you can enjoy a fabulous meal with your pooch alongside. The restaurant at Asticou Inn serves brunch, lunch, and dinner, as well as a scrumptious afternoon tea. Enjoy classic fare like crab cakes or lobster stew, or sip on a cocktail and watch the sailboats go gliding by.
Old Orchard Beach
At least once every year my husband and I take our three dogs to Old Orchard Beach Maine. There are at least two pet friendly motels right on the beach and dogs are allowed on the beach after 5:00 pm between Memorial Day and Labor day and 24 hours a day during off season. There is even a small dog park if you want to let them play off leash. Old Orchard Beach is located between Kennebunk and Portland Maine so there are plenty of other things to do close by.
Next to A.Z.'s market and a children's playground and basketball court. Has a smaller area gated off for the smaller dogs, and a large fenced in area with running water for any-sized dogs. Also there are benches for us people.

Portland Lobster Company has a dog-friendly deck!
Gilbert's Chowder House has a pet friendly deck!
El Rayo Taqueria has a dog-friendly patio.
Portland Sea Dogs ball park has a pet night, sponsored by Planet Dog. It's called Bark in the Park and benefits a local shelter. Owners and dogs sit in the designated area and usually enjoy free giveaways. It's fun taking in a baseball game with your favorite friend!
Boone's Fish House & Oyster Room has acovered water view patio where dogs are welcome.
Standard Baking Co. has a dog-friendly patio.
During Summertime, go around the back of the building (Wharf St). There are usually tables set up, and your dog can sit next to you while you enjoy a beer and/or some decent pub grub.
Sebago Brewing Company offers house-brand microbrew beers and upscale pub food. Sidewalk seating open during the summer welcomes dogs.
Small, sandy beach where dogs are allowed Labor Day thru Memorial Day all day, and from Memorial Day to Labor Day after 6pm. Poop bags provided. Walking directions from Old Port: Commercial St heading north toward Narrow Guage Railroad. Keep going past railroad museum until you see sandy beach.
