Oh, we love this place! It has a lovely pet-friendly outdoor patio set among deep green rolling lawns and trees. You’ll find all your pub classics on the menu and more, with soups, salads, burgers, and sandwiches like the Connecticut Lobster Roll, made with large chunks of lobster tossed with melted butter and served on a buttered corn hoagie. There is also more substantial fare, like Steak Frites. Best of all, it has a Bone Appetit Doggie Menu, with selections like Hot Diggity Dog (hot dog cut into bite-size pieces), Bark Balls (beef meatballs), Hound Dog Heaven (burger), and Chicken a la Hound (grilled chicken with rice). It’s open seven days a week, 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., except for Sunday, when it opens at 10 a.m.

The perfect place to grab a beer or glass of wine and relax under the umbrella at one the tables on their pet-friendly patio. And if you get the munchies, there is plenty to choose from—try Pub Nachos (or Extreme Pub Nachos if you’ve really got an appetite), Greylock Fries (topped with cheddar and smoked bacon), or any one of their creative salads, sandwiches, or burgers. Two of our favorites are the Sister Havana Cuban Sandwich and the Berkshire Blue Burger, topped with smoked bacon (are you noticing a theme here?), iceberg lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion, and blue cheese dressing.

Sit at one of the tables in the pet-friendly outdoor seating section and enjoy the vibrant flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean. Pera specializes in kebabs but also offers a wonderful selection of small plates, like stuffed grape leaves, salads, sandwiches, pastas, and entrees. You can also order from their gluten-free menu. And they have a wonderful cocktail menu, including a Jalapeno Margarita and a Watermelon Martini.
