Myrtle Beach - Pet-Friendly Dog Parks

A lovely setting for large and small dogs - in adjacent double-gate entry parks. Plenty of grass, shade, some gentle hills on the large dog side. There are in-ground water 'fountains' for the dogs. This set of parks is surrounded by a 6 ft. chain link fence. There are pooh bags provided in frequently filled dispensers. Tennis balls are generously donated by a local tennis club. Local dog-owners frequent the park and are friendly answering any questions about the area (vets, groomers, beaches and the like) The park is sprayed and mulch is freshened each quarter and is closed for 3 weekdays during that time. Humans have concrete paved walkways, benches and a generous number of trash cans throughout. Parking is free. There is a portable bathroom next to the park. And the park is next to the YMCA. Dogs are not allowed in the YMCA building.
