Garden City
Located at the Gallery at Westbury Plaza, this Shake Shake has a nice pet-friendly outdoor section where you are welcome to enjoy your meal with your pup. They also have a canine-centric menu, where you can choose from the Poochini, a sweet combo of dog biscuit, peanut butter, and custard, or the Bag O Bones, your own doggie bag of biscuits.
Glens Falls
Your pooch is welcome on the patio of this wood-fired oven-equipped tavern that offers up delicious flame-licked wings, pizzas, and pasta skillets, along with burgers, soups, and salads, all of which you can wash down with your choice of craft beer or milkshake.
Hamden
A great place to grab a sandwich, panini, or bowl of chili or soup, to stay or take out. We love The Asa, homemade hummus, shaved carrots, red onion, kale, and provolone on whole wheat bread. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are all available. Enjoy it with your pooch at one of their pet-friendly tables outside.
Hamilton
Come for the beer and stay for the menu, which focuses on locally sourced ingredients and offers a creative selection of salads, pizza from their wood-fired oven, burgers (including smash burgers like the Pimento Memento), and sandwiches. Hastings On Hudson
We love the Caribbean-inspired menu at this beautiful restaurant set right on the Hudson River. Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Escovitch Rice with Calypso Rice, the Rhythm and Spice Burger, brushed with tamarind sauce and topped with a slice of pineapple--enjoy it all with your pup on their pet-friendly deck that looks directly out over the river.

Jamesport
You and your pup can enjoy a bucolic (and mildly alcoholic--you, not him) afternoon together at the pet-friendly tables on the grounds of this beautiful winery on the North Fork of Long Island. Try a wine tasting and you can pair it with a selection of local cheeses. If you're visiting on the weekend, you can order one of their wood-fired pizzas.
Kerhonkson
Beautiful state park with lots of trails. Sheer cliffs to walk along, lakes, waterfalls, pine barrens. Ice Caves Mountain is a part of this park, but is accessed from another location, off Cragsmoor Road in the town of Wawassing. Ancient rock formations and caves to explore. Dogs must be on a 6-foot leash.
Kingston
Ole Savannah is located in the Historic Waterfront District of Kingston on Rondout Creek. The building the restaurant is in used to be the boiler shop of the Cornell Steamboat Company. Its menu is just the ticket if your culinary heart skews South, with choices like Low Country Shrimp and Grits, Oyster Po'Boy Sliders, and Fried Green Tomatoes with Buttermilk Ranch Dressing. They also have a raw bar and offer a tasty selection of items from the smoker, including brisket and pulled pork. Enjoy it all with your pup at one of the tables in their pet-friendly outdoor seating.
We would call the menu at Christina's eclectic Italian style, with classic selections like Shrimp Fra Diavolo and Chicken Sorrentino, but also Meatloaf Roulade (stuffed with spinach, basil, and mozzarella), Bacon Swiss Burger, and Applejack Pork Loin. Christina's has a beautiful pet-friendly covered outdoor seating area.
