Great pub-style restaurant with a pet-friendly patio. The menus includes wings 12 different ways (including Apocalyptic and Garlic Parmesan), burgers 18 ways (try the Dragon with blue cheese crumbles, bacon, and sautéed onions), plus a fantastic selections of appetizers, soups, salads, and sandwiches. Oh and 20 craft beers on tap at all times.
Armadillo Bar & Grill offers Southwestern and Mexican cuisine with a Nuevo Latino twist, and it has a pet-friendly outdoor seasonal space where you and your pooch are welcome. In fact, it's so pet friendly it was voted Hudson Valley Magazine's Best Dog-Friendly Restaurant in 2015.
This Italian restaurant is located in the Historic Waterfront District of Kingston, in the former opera house. It has a lovely pet-friendly outdoor seating area where your pooch is welcome to join you in enjoying such selections as Savona's Salmon Limoncello, Baked Eggplant Rollatini, Garlic Steak, and Nonna's Famous From Scratch Bucatini and Meatballs.
Ship to Shore is located in the Historic Waterfront District of Kingston, off the Rondout Creek, known as "The Strand." It has a gorgeous pet-friendly outdoor seating area, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy something off the menu, their twist on surf and turf, like Shrimp Tostados, Bistro Steak Chop Chop Salad, or Yellow Fin Tuna Stack.
Fantastic smokehouse fare like St. Louis style spare ribs, slow-smoked beef brisket, hot-smoked salmon, and smoked turkey thighs. But it doesn't stop there--catfish platter, meatloaf, chopped salad, portobello burger, and so much more, plus local craft beers and hard ciders to wash it all down it. Enjoy it with your pooch alongside at one of their pet-friendly tables outside.
Lake George
Take your pick of their delicious burgers, salads, sandwiches, and house specialities, like braised pork shanks (called Garrison Pork Wings) and Filet Mignon Sliders. Your pooch is welcome to join you on their patio.
Dogs are welcome on either of their two lakeside patios (which are also heated, a nice touch when temps start to dip a bit). They've got the surf and turf thing going on their menu--we're suckers for the Seafood Tower of Power.
The companion pub to Adirondack Brewery, which is right next door. They have a fantastic outdoor eating area that your pup is most welcome to join you on. Burgers, steaks, salads, and more are on the menu, and who can resist finishing the meal with one of their S'mores?!

This is an historic fort at the southern end of Lake George, NY. Dogs are allowed on all the grounds with you, and in the museum shop. It is open from 9 am. to 6 pm., May 1 through the end of October.

Enjoy Northern Italian specialties in this beautiful restaurant located in an impeccably restored Victorian house. There is a lovely pet-friendly backyard patio where you can relax and indulge in their delicious menu with your pooch. Or, if you're in the mood, engage in a game of bocce (so long as your pup doesn't think you're trying to play catch!).
Lake Placid
Enjoy the sand and water with your pooch or you can hike around the perimeter of this beautiful lake. The dog beach is to the right of the public beach. Be sure to pick up after your pet!
Take a walk on the Southern side, with specialties like Crawfish Étouffée, Chicken Fried Steak, and Shrimp 'n' Grits. Eleven beers are always on tap, including local breweries. Enjoy it all with your pup at their outdoor tables.
We love the eclectic menu of this eatery--Vietnamese Pork Meatballs, Mountain of Fries (poutine style, if you like), Lobster Roll, Fried Chicken 'n' Stuffing Waffle--and you can enjoy it with your canine in their outdoor seating.
Voted Best Brewery and Best Bar in the Adirondack Park, this brewpub offers six of its own house beers on tap at all times. You and your pup are welcome in their dog-friendly beer garden, which provides complimentary water dishes. Be sure to check out their delicious pub menu, and to pick up a Lake Placid Pub & Brewery dog bandana to remember the day by.

Lakewood
Avail yourself of the pet-friendly beer garden that is part of The Empty Pint Taproom at Southern Tier. Enjoy one of the brewery's many fine beers and dig into some barbecue from their hickory wood-fired smoker. And if you and your best friend are looking for a little exercise AND fun, give the brewery's Stones course a shot. As their website describes it, Stones is a cross between bocce and golf, with some water hazards thrown in.
