Roscoe Village, Coshocton, OH. You can walk through the gardens and the trails with your dog. You can't go in the buildings but there is as much to see outside as there is inside. The canals, the historic canal and the canal boat, the locks, old towpath, so much more to list. This village was once a bustling port on the Ohio and Erie Canal. Today you can experience the history and charm of the 1800s by talking a stroll down the streets of this village. The village also features a garden and sometimes offers a "Garden Stroll" tour of the gardens. When you arrive in the morning, stop at the Visitor's Center to try and arrange a tour which costs about $2.50 per person. The tours are given by the landscape crew who is usually there during the weekdays and sometimes on the weekends. If you cannot take the guided tour, you can still walk through the gardens with your pooch. Just remember to clean up after him or her.
