Okay, you're probably thinking that dogs and cats aren't meant for skiing. So why take them along? Well, the answer is that you’re going skiing and want your best friend to be with you. It’s as simple as that. Therefore, you need a pet friendly ski resort. And even though you really can’t spend time with them on the slopes, the point is that they’ll be there when you’re done and that will make you very happy.

Great Bear Recreation Park in Sioux Falls has a ton of winter activities for the family and the pet. 14 Downhill trails, snowboarding, tubing park, cross country and snow showing trails.
Alpine Valley Ski Area is pet friendly. Closed during the summer and office is open on Wednesday only.
