Neighbors has 20 beers on tap and the name says it all—a local bar and restaurant with live music where you are invited to sit and stay awhile. You and your best friend are welcome on their pet-friendly front patio. They also have a small but tasty menu that includes house-smoked pulled pork and brisket, which you can enjoy in a sandwich or as part of the Loaded Nachos or Loaded Baked Potato. Open Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Located in East Nashville behind the Shelby Park Community Center, this off-leash park is a lovely combination of open grassy areas and stands of trees. There is a doggy water fountain, a pavilion with a picnic table, and benches for pet owners. Open sunrise to 8 p.m.
