Whether it is hiking a trail in First Landing State Park, romping on our 35-miles of sandy beaches, taking a doggy-paddle in the ocean or playing a little game of fetch in our off-leash dog parks, you and your four-legged companion can experience what it means to “Live The Life†(or should we say live “a dog’s lifeâ€) in Virginia Beach.
There is 1 1/4 miles of beach located along the Chesapeake Bay. First Landing's beach is open every day. There are no lifeguards, you swim at your own risk. There is no swimming allowed in the Narrows or at the boat launch area. $4.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5 per vehicle on weekends
