Description: Unwind and recharge on beautiful Coronado Island at our newly-revived luxury mid-century beach home. The Coronado House is an ideal place for a family holiday, romantic getaway, seasonal escape, adventure with friends, or even a cheeky working vacation. (Don't worry, we won't tell.) The residence features a new and ample kitchen, two comfortable and landscaped yards, four flatscreen smart TVs with SlingTV and HBO, WiFi, washer and dryer, covered and street parking, and a gorgeous fireplace at the heart of the home. And although Coronado's weather tends to be perfect, each room is individually climate-controlled. Our goal is to provide a luxurious, unique experience for each of our guests. We are happy to configure sleeping arrangements for any party from one to six guests. The Coronado House has a master bedroom with a California king bed, and the second bedroom features a queen bed. The third has a twin bed with a trundle and also features a desk and space for yoga or light fitness activities. Please let us know if you are celebrating a special event such as a honeymoon or anniversary and whether your party includes children. We have toys, beach gear, a crib, and family-friendly itineraries available. The Coronado House is also very proud to be a pet friendly venue. It is located a short walk away from one of San Diego's finest off-leash dog beaches, and Coronado boasts an independent pet store, pet-friendly restaurants, and multiple veterinary facilities. Come and enjoy all that the island and San Diego have to offer from the comfort of this vintage gem. You can spend the day at the world-famous Coronado Beach, less than a mile away, and cap the evening with a seaside cocktail at the iconic Hotel Del Coronado. Enjoy a quick and scenic ferry ride to downtown San Diego and the Gaslamp Quarter from the bayside ferry landing or a ten minute Uber ride to a Padre's baseball game from your doorstep. Or perhaps you prefer to take advantage of the Craft Brewing Capital of America at one of San Diego County's 130+ craft brewhouses. San Diego is also home to world-famous attractions, including the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, Legoland, the museums and grounds at Balboa Park, the Old Globe Theatre, Del Mar Race Track and SeaWorld. Easy day or weekend trips include Los Angeles/Hollywood, Disneyland, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree National Park, and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Work or study in confidence with our hi-speed fiber optic internet. For two or more connected devices, moderate to heavy internet users need at least 12 megabits per second (Mbps); four or more devices, 25 Mbps. Sea Ranch Abalone Bay offers 56 Mbps! Pet Policy: We love dogs but ask you for two things: Not on the furniture, and please clean up after them. We provide a sling bed and dog mattress, water/food dishes, a pooper scooper, and a basket with older towels. We don't charge a pet fee because we believe that people with dogs are excellent guests and that we all understand that housekeepers spend extra time to ensure the next guest has a fresh experience. We ask that dogs are groomed and on a flea program and not left unattended inside of the house unless crated.
