It was built in 1915 to house the boilers that converted raw sap to maple syrup. Located on the grounds of the 571-acre Scott Farm, The Sugarhouse is a cozy retreat with nearby apple picking, hiking, biking, and skiing in season. The picturesque Scott Farm was a key location for the filming of the Academy Award-winning movie The Cider House Rules, based on the John Irving novel of the same name.
