PET FRIENDLY Cornell University

Ithaca, NY 14853

One of the Ivies, Cornell University was founded in 1865 by businessman (he founded Western Union) Ezra Cornell and historian and educator Andrew Dickson White. One of the things we love best about Cornell is its College of Veterinary Medicine, which we think makes it very pet friendly. In fact, there is the Cornell Canine Health Center, which is dedicated to research leading to the improvement in the health of dogs. There is also the Cornell Veterinary Biobank, which contains DNA samples from more than 10,000 dogs from all over the world.
