Pet friendly Daytona International Speedway is Located in Daytona Beach, Florida. It’s been the official home of NASCAR’s Daytona 500 ever since its opening in 1959. The Fanzone is an exclusive area near the garages where guests can get a closer look at the drivers, and watch pit teams work on their cars between races. Rumor has it that dogs have been a big part of NASCAR ever since Darrell Waltrip, NASCAR champion, brought his pooch to a race in the 70’s.
