Iowa Speedway is a dog friendly racing facility located just east of Des Moines in Newton, Iowa. It houses a 0.8 mile oval track, a 1.3 mile road course, and grandstands with a capacity of 30,000. In 2006, the speedway opened with the Soy Biodiesel 250. The facility currently hosts a diverse array of racing series and events. NASCAR uses the facility for its Xfinity series, K&N Pro Series, and Grander Outdoors Truck Series. NASCAR is big crowd pleaser at the Iowa Speedway, but fans also enjoy the ARCA Racing Series and Verizon’s IndyCar Series. Die hard enthusiasts go even further and attend the speedway’s Rusty Wallace Racing Experience and Formula Experience driving schools.
