And there is absolutely no reason not to bring your pet with you. You’ll want to check out our pet-friendly lodgings, of course. But once you check in, it’s time to have fun. You and your pup can visit Absecon Lighthouse in Atlantic City, New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse, and run around (him on leash) on their two-acre lawn or check out the museum.
Or, if you’re staying in the Cape May area, visit Historic Cold Spring Village, a living history museum that encompasses 30 acres and 26 restored historic buildings that recreate the “homespun” era of 1789 to 1840. Your pet is welcome to accompany you throughout the village on leash. And if you’re scoping out places to stay or enjoying the off-season quiet in April, you don't want to miss Ocean City’s Doo Dah Parade, which features more bassett hounds than you can shake a stick at.

Description: This second floor shore home has all the size and convenience you could hope for to make your family's vacation enjoyable. Renters comment on how roomy and comfortable the home is. Enjoy the 12x26 rear deck and make use of the gas grill. There are 5 separate bedrooms that sleep a total of 13 people (no one stuck with a sofa bed) , a full kitchen, very large dining room and a large comfortable living room. You also have use of the 8 complimentary beach tags. The home is located on Atlantic Avenue between First Street and St. Charles; a very quiet neighborhood. You will be one and half blocks from the beach and boardwalk, and within a two block walk of a deli, pizza shop, ice cream shop and one of the finest restaurants on the island; The Island Grill.Off-season weekends starting at $275/night with a two night minimum. Contact owners.There are 3 tvs with DVD. There are also 5 ceiling fans.The First Street beach has a breakfast lunch shop (Browns Restaurant), first aid station, foot shower and bathroom facilities.Our home has a fully enclosed outside shower and dressing area, and a locked storage area under the outside stairs to store your beach items. We prefer family rentals. If your group exceeds 13, we also have a third floor available at an additional cost which sleeps 6 and has a bedroom, living area, kitchenette and full bath. Atlantic City Airport is close to Atlantic City and Ocean City and is a short taxi drive to each.
Philadelphia International Airport is connected to Atlantic City by train or you can take a bus to most towns along the Jersey shore.
From Newark Liberty International Airport you can take a train or bus to Newark or New York City and and then take a bus or train to the Shore.
