Pets are permitted on the beach on a 12-foot leash. Your pet can be off leash if both you and your dog are swimming in the ocean (this does not include walking your dog in the surf). Once you are out of the water, your pet must go back on leash.

Explore the park’s 75 acres located on the northern tip of the New Smyrna Beach peninsula, with the Atlantic Ocean to one side and the Indian River emptying out through the Ponce Inlet on the other. In addition to the beach, there are two miles of walkways over the scrub and saltwater marsh you can explore with your dog on leash.
