The âpetswelcomeâ sign is definitely out along Oregon’s Pacific coast when it comes to beaches. There are an eye-popping number of state parks with beaches along the coast and your pet is welcome in all of them, so long as you keep him on a 6-foot leash. Many towns are welcoming of you and your pet when it comes to their local beaches as well, some allowing your pet to romp off leash, others requiring a leash. Be sure to observe the local beach regulations and pick up after your pet so these incredibly beautiful landscapes remain pet friendly.
The Oregon Coast is a long one (more than 360 miles), so for your convenience sake, we’ve arranged these pet-friendly beaches from north to south, roughly in the order you’d come to them if you were driving down Highway 101 from Oregon’s border with Washington, and dividing them into North Coast, Central Coast, and South Coast beaches.
