Rumor has it that Orlando was named after a Shakespeare character in As You Like It. We're relieved, then, that it wasn't called Abhorson, or Dr. Butts or Froth or Dull or Elbow or Launcelot Gobbo or any of the thousand of other characters in Shakespeare plays. Maybe only Dogberry (from Much Ado About Nothing) would be more fitting. That's because Orlando is extremely dog-friendly and has tons of things to do and places to stay for you and your pet.
