Emailed for a ground floor handicap accessible room. Property never responded. Gave us an upstairs room farthest from the parking lot. When I asked upon check in, was told they did not offer the size room I request on the ground level. My 90-year mother who has trouble walking had to climb approx. 20 stairs. If they had responded to my request, I would have made other arrangements. Most of the lights in the room did not work. Paper thin walls. Towels and wash cloths like sandpaper. Parking was extremely limited Expected so much more for the price

Chose this property because it is pet friendly ($25/night one -time fee). The room is a basic room with lots of toiletries, a fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. Based on all of the bumper stickers in the parking lot, this place is where all of the visiting parents of Cal Poly students stay. The hotel is on a street that's full of hotels and places to eat within walking distance. My only complaint is how thin the walls were. I could hear the muffled talking next door and they weren't even speaking loudly.

I want to give this property a good rating, but I cannot. There was a blood pressure medication (internet identified) clearly on the floor when we walked in. Neither my partner or I had anything of the sort on us. There were large scratches on the floor I was worried we would be charged for, the bathroom sink leaked, the room was filthy, bedding was missing. The other hotel guests were loud, yelling across corridors, and overall would never stay here again. The pictures are misleading. It does NOT look that nice. I have pics for proof.

The only thing I would have liked to have had was better pillows and the tissue boxes. Both filled up. I had allergies while I was out there and needed a lot. I didn't feel like asking for more and maybe an extra Towers. I didn't ask for it, but it would have been nice just to have it in there in the first place.

The rooms were basic but comfortable for one night. The grounds could use some TLC.

I paid $20 for early check in, and after wating 20 minutes for the unerstaffed desk to issue me my room, it was almost check-in time. Room looked like 1970 visited. Old dated clothes cabilbet and table was all in the room. The bed was full of dirt or sand when I kaid down, not sure which after I spent 5 minutes swiping it off.We had to park around the block from hotel, bcause they didn't have adequate space for vehicles. The area surrounding the pool is boarded up. Would not return.

Stayed on double queen suite. Liked that there was a separate living area and doors in between. The room was updated, but I think they could have made it less fancy and paid more attention to adding essentials instead. There were 3 sinks and a tiny armoire closet (could have done without one of the sinks and added left a closet). Also in the bathroom no toilet paper roll holder or soap holder in the shower. Instead there was a fancy black sink and rain shower. The front desk was nicely updated. Breakfast was free with lots of options. Very close to Cal Poly and walkable to downtown. The price wasn’t bad for such a large room. No pet fees either. So overall, great value and nice accommodations for kids and pets for the price.

The room was not ready at check in time, the light in the bathroom did not work, we couldn’t take a shower in the evening, we had to wait till the next day. We reported the problem but unfortunately it never got fixed.
