My expectations were low but, I was pleasantly surprised. Clean room, courtious front desk.I was pleased.

Got a room 139, the battery of the door lock was dead so we couldn’t get in. Got room 152 - the battery worked but the lock inside was put on so we again couldn’t get in. Finally got room 123 right by the lobby. The front desk agent John who also does maintenance and housekeeping was very nice. The property is old and needs a flip or a facelift. The room was somewhat clean but not spotless. The bathroom had either broken and outdated details or was dirty - one of the nastiest toilets i’ve ever seen. The beds were comfortable but the sheets, pillows and towels are garbage. The owner of this joint should spend a night at that room and place a review.

The staff was friendly and apologetic. The room itself was ok but the bed sheets were dirty. Crumbs and hairs on the sheets. They did offer another room but it still wasn’t up to par. We had them replaced the bedding in our original room. The door to our room didn’t close properly you had to really pull and check to make sure it was locked.

It was ok,wont be going back,because the pictures on the site look better then the actual room..

It was unfortunate that poor planning for the Corvette show in Carlisle that most of the area motels were booked. We stayed in room 205 a non smoking room. We were totally disgusted with the room condition. Not only was the room filthy, Litter was present on the floor, burn marks were present around the perimeter of the sink as well as a burn hole in the bed cover. We believed the vacant electrical space on the upper wall was from the smoke detector being removed from guests smoking in the room. Mold was also present around the bottom of the door jams entering the bathroom which displayed yellow filth around tub and the toilet bowl entering the bathroom. The only sign of room service was the bed was remade with the same bedding and bath linens were resupplied. The sheets and burn holed blanket remained the same. Obtaining another hotel was not an option. Three days we observed the same litter on the floor and only the bed being remade. I'm not sure of the heath or safety codes of PA but I'm quite sure this Econo Lodge in Carlisle would fail immensely if code enforcement were to inspect it. Not an option and a warning to anyone considering the stay.
