How absurdly stinky of cigarettes, bad smell in the water, air conditioning doesn't let you sleep, in addition to a terrible receptionist who doesn't stay at the reception, I spent 30 minutes knocking on the door and pressing the bell for him to appear.

The room was dirty and smelled really strong of animal odor. There was ceiling tiles falling from the ceiling. Dirty dog prints behind the door and scratch marks. The comfortable had not been washed in a very long time. And the floor had stains all over, wasnt mopped or swept.

I am very surprised that Expedia would allow a hotel like this one to be on their website! There were people hanging out in the parking lot smoking marijuana in cars and bicycles! I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable for me and my family and for the safety of my vehicle. The parking lot was dirty with hundreds of cigarette butts on the ground in the parking lot. It’s no wonder that this hotel offers no refunds. They know that many people like myself will not stay there once they see the condition of the property. Luckily I left and demanded a full refund and the guy at the front desk said he couldn’t give me one and I had to contact Expedia. I contacted Expedia and filed a complaint. I have never experienced anything like this before in all the years I have been booking with Expedia. This experience has caused me to lose trust booking with Expedia. I had to find another hotel and did not book it through Expedia based on the experience I had with Stayable Jacksonville West! Never again will I ever consider staying at this Hotel or recommending it to anyone! Unfortunately I didn’t read all the negative reviews of this hotel until after I decided to cancel my reservation. Thank you Expedia for giving me and my family the worst night of my life in this unsafe hotel!!! Never again will I book a hotel that doesn’t offer refunds. This nightmare for me ended quickly when I refused to stay there and thank God that I did. I don’t believe that my vehicle would be safe!

Understaffed, check in was at 4 we weren’t able to get checked in until almost 6 o’clock due to troubles with other guests, trying to check in and rooms not being clean on time. We were trying to go to a different hotel, but was unable to find one which is why we ended up coming back in the room still wasn’t ready. Somebody went in there and actually cleaned it on the spot for us. He was awesome. We don’t know his name. It was even his birthday. Lol this company is stressing these people out.!!
